Qualified Behavioral Health Paraprofessional (QBHP) is needed for our year-round intensive outpatient children's counseling program called C.L.I.M.B (Children Learning and Implementing Mindful Behaviors). The QBHP will work in an evidence-based conscious discipline program for children who may be struggling emotionally or behaviorally in their current childcare environment or in an intensive outpatient program. The program focuses on emotional and behavioral regulation, family support and academic growth. Up to $20.00 per hour depending on experience and degree.
The CLIMB program is for children who may be struggling emotionally or behaviorally or with trauma related issues in their current childcare environment or in school. Staff is trained in Conscious Discipline, which is an evidence-based treatment intervention that teaches children the social, emotional, and communication skills necessary to manage themselves. Each child is assigned a mental health professional and qualified behavioral health professional that will work with them daily on their personalized treatment goals. The length of treatment can be 6 months to one year or longer depending on the complexity of the case.
