Position Details

  • Full-Time position in our Trauma-Focused Child Day Program
  • 40 hours
  • Nonexempt
  • Hot Springs

Position Summary

Provide supplemental mental health services, case coordination, and medically necessary counseling services to individuals and families under the direction of a Mental Health Professional in accordance with OBHAW's mission, vision, and values

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience working in a field with children and adults who may be in crisis, preferred.
  • Capacity to function effectively within the context of the cultural beliefs, behaviors, and needs of clients and the community.
  • CPR and Handle with Care if required for position.
  • Clean background check.
  • Working knowledge of and ability to use computer for email and electronic medical record.
  • Child abuse statues and mandated reporting.
  • Excellent organizational, telephone, and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Regular attendance at work is a requirement of this position.
  • Ability to work with individuals who may be emotional, upset, and at times hostile.
